Introduction

Spiritual warfare is often invisible but it’s not fictional. Satan is someone we can’t physically see but he is not a mirage. I used to think that the whole warfare talk was a bunch of crap. I’m honest with you!

Then, I was attacked by the devil, in an unexpected and cruel way, and he almost destroyed me. I described my spiritual warfare story in great detail on this Christian blog.

So, now I know first-hand that spiritual warfare is real. It’s not a made-up thing to scare kids or to force you to go to church. It’s a battle, and the stakes are high. Satan wants you devastated, disoriented, and defeated.

Satan is targeting you because you belong to God.

He wants to have you for himself instead.

The tools he uses are many and so are his weapons.

You have two choices: to be blissfully ignorant (and I met many people who choose this option intentionally) or you can be aware, alert, alarmed, and armed (which is what the Bible teaches). You choose!

These powerful spiritual warfare prayers for protection were given to me by God for me. He comforted me through these, and He asked me to share His comfort with you through His three powerful prayers.

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Ephesians 6:12

Dear God, I am struggling right now, and my struggle appears to be worldly and not spiritual. In the natural, it seems as if I were battling life’s problems to no avail, as if I were on my own, all alone. But I know from Ephesians 6:12 that, as your child, my mind, heart, and soul are targeted by Satan at all times. My struggle is against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Right now, I’m experiencing doubt, confusion, distractions, temptations, weak faith, loss of hope, lack of peace, unusual illnesses, resentment toward you, God, and depression. To win this spiritual warfare and be victorious, I must take a stand against the devil’s schemes, demolish strongholds and arguments against the knowledge of Biblical truth, resist Satan, standing firm in my faith, and take captive every thought to make it obedient to the teachings of Christ. And the teachings of Christ, your word, God, says that I am powerful in Christ. You say, God, that I am not alone, that you are always with me. The Gospel teaches me that I am protected. So, Father God, I declare right now in the name of Jesus that my mind, heart, and soul all belong to you. I belong to you. I am yours. I am strong. I stand on your 3573 promises, and I am faithful. In the name of Jesus Christ, my lord and savior, I declare that I am hopeful. Amen.

The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. 2 Corinthians 10:4

Father God, I keep looking for wordly weapons, for human help, for the kinds of answers that make tangible sense. I got it all wrong, God. Thank you for opening up my eyes to the things unseen. Thanks for drawing me close to you and giving me this prayer. The weapons of spiritual warfare are determined by the ultimate outcome of victory, which is for me to be strong in the lord and in His mighty power. To gain strength in the lord, I must remember and leverage my seven divine weapons: the word of God, the blood of Jesus, the name of Jesus, the testimony of believers, prayers, the 3573 promises of God, and thanksgiving. Father, these are not the weapons of the world. Yet, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. God, I come before you right now with my eyes wide open and my heart broken: help me renew my mind, deliver me from this warfare, give me your Spirit to inspire a new life in me, help me stand firm against Satan, give me the courage I need to fight back and not give up, empower me, God. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.

Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. Ephesians 6:11

Heavenly Father, I trust you, Abba. You are my Daddy and you love me. I am loved by you unconditionally for eternity. I am blessed by you with every spiritual blessing. To fight this spiritual warfare, I have the Armor of God: the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, the sword of the Spirit, and the prayer on all occasions. Dear God, I am weary and discouraged in the midst of this warfare. I’m overwhelmed and I’m just so tired. But I put on your armor every morning and I pray in faith. I pray with hope. My hope is in the lord. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. I will stand strong to witness your victory because I trust you, God. I declare in the name of Jesus that you are always good, God. I declare that you have a plan, that your plan is perfect, and that I am a part of your good plan. I trust you, God. In the name of Jesus, strengthen my hope. Amen.

Remember that satan wants your faith compromised. All he needs is to seed doubt, and he can win you over from God. Leverage my three spiritual warfare prayers for the mind to stand strong against satan’s deceptive schemes.

I was very confused in 2016, when after our wedding, my husband started avoiding me and telling me that he cheated on me. He wasted my paychecks on his hobby while manipulating me into suicidal depression. I thought I was fighting my husband. That was not the case. I was battling satan.

How he got me all devastated and confused was by shaking my identity. I saw myself based on my last name, Szabo, which was my husband’s name. I thought last names defined my identity. From that experience, I learned to see myself based on my faith in Jesus Christ, not my last name.

Today, I help women see themselves the way God sees them. I’ve specifically been focusing on identity in Christ. From the Bible, I discovered 52 incredibly-positive things God says about us as His daughters. Those 52 precious discoveries turned into 52 Biblical affirmations I created to encourage and empower Christian women.

To help share this life-changing information with you, I created an ebook called #52Devotionals. Download it now for free
