I want to give you a simple tip: knowing and reading these prayers won’t help. What will really help you is praying these four spiritual warfare prayers for protection. So, if you want them to work, you do the work.

Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. 1 Peter 5:8

Father God, I know that satan targets me because he wants to lure me away from you and eat me greedily (devour me). God, I belong to you. I am a child of God. I have good discernment. I am thoughtful. I am wise. So, I am watchful at all times. I stay sober-minded and alert. I am not blissfully ignorant. I know the devil well. Satan disguises himself as an angel of light but represents the principalities, powers, and rulers of the darkness of this world. He is the roaring lion looking for someone to devour. The devil is a thief who comes to kill and steal and destroy. Satan represents the spiritual wickedness and spiritual forces of evil. I am watchful, Father God, and I pray in the name of Jesus Christ for your divine protection. I know you have already won the victory on my behalf. I declare my trust in you and my hope in your promises. I have faith, God, that you are good God and that you’re watching over me every moment of every hour. I pray for your mercy and grace. In the name of Jesus. Amen.

The Lord will cause your enemies who rise against you to be defeated before you. Deuteronomy 28:7

Dear God, I am in the midst of a spiritual battle, and my enemy is powerful. I have both fear and faith. God, strengthen my faith, please, I need you right now. Reveal yourself to me, God, by showing me your protection from my enemy. Guide my every thought and word and step. Help me gain victory in this battle. Empower me to defeat my enemy. Enable me to use wisely my spiritual warfare weapons: the word of God, the blood of Jesus, the name of Jesus, the testimony of believers, prayer, God’s promises, and thanksgiving. What does Satan want? To torment me, to have me curse you, God, to shut me down, to prevent me from sharing the good news of Jesus Christ. Why? Because Satan himself is being tormented (Revelation 20:10). I declare my spiritual victory in the power and the holy name of Jesus. I stand on your 3573 eternal promises, God, and I trust in the lord. Amen.

I have given you authority over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall hurt you. Luke 10:19

Heavenly Father, I am fighting a spiritual battle, and it’s overwhelming me. I feel weak and weary. But I do know that satan has no power whatsoever over me because I am blessed by God. I belong to you, Father, I am protected. You have granted me authority over satan. All I need is to realize and leverage my power. I am powerful in Christ. Satan can’t hurt me. I declare my divine, God-given superiority, I step into my divine strength, and I am ready to stand against the devil. I will not give up or give in. I resist Satan, standing firm in my faith (1 Peter 5:8). In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. James 4:7

Dear God, this spiritual warfare battle I’m fighting feels overwhelming. I’ve been trying to fight in my own power. Now, I submit myself to you. God, you are good all the time. I know you sometimes allow bad things to happen to good people. I understand that you have a plan and I’m a part of it, I do trust your promises and that your plan is perfect. So, as I abide in Christ instead of fighting this warfare in my own power, I put on the whole armor of God, so that I may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil (Ephesians 6:11). I destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God and take every thought captive to obey Christ (2 Corinthians 10:3-5). I think about whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, and whatever is worthy of praise (Philippians 4:8). I know the truth, and the truth sets me free (John 8:32). I am alert and always keep on praying (Ephesians 6:18). I draw near to you, God, and you draw near to me (James 4:8). You make satan flee from me, Father God. I declare this in the name of Jesus Christ, my lord and savior. Amen.
