Description
This ebook shares 30 Christian poems birthed by me between 2017 and 2020. As I was facing divorce with my abuser, dealing with trauma, and working through my faith crisis, one by one, each of these spiritual poems was born. They came not from me but through me from God (John 7:38).
I share with you, through my Christian poetry, the lessons I’ve learned from trials and tribulations. My hope is to encourage and empower you on your own journey. In this world, we are promised to have troubles, through which we must persevere so that we can grow in faith, not lack any wisdom, and share hope with others by comforting them with the same comfort we received from God.
Living life requires wisdom, intentionality, focus, boundaries, and discernment. This collection of Christian poems represents what I’ve learned by living through unbearable pain and leaning on God for healing, though God and I never sugarcoat things in our conversations: we argue and wrestle but God always wins. He saved me in 2014. Everything shared in this Christian spoken word poetry book I’ve learned on my personal faith journey with God. I listen to His Spirit, which dwells in me.
This poetry was birthed from the heart of a person who has struggled with narcissistic abuse, rape, miscarriage, divorce, homelessness, childhood trauma, alcoholism, sex addiction, domestic violence, and other unbearable adversity, which you may also be facing in your personal life. May you find comfort in these Christian poems today!
