Deep Spiritual Warfare Prayers by Anna Szabo

Have you been battling a war against satan? I know from experience what it’s like to be attacked. Satan wanted me devastated, disoriented, and discouraged, walking away from God, so he lured me into a narcissistic marriage which resulted in suicidal depression. Today, I will share with you my two deep spiritual warfare prayers to encourage and empower you.

I used to not ever believe in spiritual warfare. Never did I know that satan was targeting me. The thing is that where I believed in satan or not, whether I recognized him or not, he pursued and attacked me. So, I was blissfully ignorant when I was attacked by satan. And it almost cost me my life. That’s why I’m so passionate about educating you on this topic.

How To Pray - Anna Szabo of Online Discipleship for Women

Why have I published so many deep spiritual warfare prayers? What drives my passion for this topic, which most Christian speakers avoid? What empowers me to continue arming you with more and more Spirit-inspired prayers for protection?

Here’s the truth.

Satan is always lurking around looking to devour you, and you’d better be prepared: alert, aware, and armed. Your armor is described in detail in Ephesians and is frequently referred to as The Armor of God.

I write extensively on this topic because I suffered much harm from my unawareness, aka ignorance. So, I wrote a very detailed blog post called The Armor of God In Practice, which I highly recommend to you.

You have many weapons available to you for spiritual warfare but the most essential is the word of God. So, I put together a list of Spiritual Warfare Scriptures, which will empower you with the Biblical truth, so make sure you check it out.

I almost died because I was not prepared to face satan. But satan is always prepared to attack. I learned the hard way but for you, I put together a Manual for Spiritual Warfare. Read it carefully and follow it to stand strong against the deceptive schemes of the devil.

Now you know why I’m sharing so many deep spiritual warfare prayers on this Christian blog for women. Today, I’m giving you two, and these are really deep. Pray them, don’t just read them.

Reading prayers won’t help you with anything.

Praying prayers helps you.

So, pray.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Matthew 6:13

Dear God, temptations don’t come from you (James 1:13). Confusion never comes from you (1 Corinthians 14:33). Yet, satan tempted even Jesus Himself in the wilderness while quoting scriptures to Him (Matthew 4:1-11). Satan disguises himself as an angel of light but represents the principalities, powers, and rulers of the darkness of this world; the roaring lion looking for someone to devour; the thief who comes to kills and steal and destroy; as well as spiritual wickedness and spiritual forces of evil. God, you promised that even when I am tempted, you will provide an escape (1 Corinthians 10:13). I am tempted by satan, and I need your help. God, I know you are omnipresent, sovereign, eternal, and can read my mind, but Satan is not and he cannot. My mind is filled with turmoil and confusion. I know that your victory for me is the peace that passes all understanding, the joy of the Lord, and the contentment from knowing that you provide for all my needs. I am tempted right now, in the mids of this spiritual warfare, to fear, to doubt, to panic, to give into anxiety and depression, and to feel separated from you, living in my own power, and it’s scary. I am tempted, and I know who is tempting me: satan. Spiritual warfare is a struggle, a battle, a war against the devil. I know how to recognize my enemy – by confusion, self-doubt, depression about the sadness of the past, and anxiety about the fears of the future. I know how to confront satan leveraging my divine spiritual warfare weapons – with the word of God, the blood of Jesus, the name of Jesus, the testimony of believers, prayer, God’s promises, and thanksgiving. I thank you, God, that you are drawing me close, keeping me aware and sober-minded, and showing me how to leverage my divine armor in this battle. I declare your victory as you deliver me from evil. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds. 2 Corinthians 10:4

Dear God, I am facing satan, and I can’t do it on my own but I can do all things through Christ (Philippians 4:13). I know from Ephesians 6:10-19 that you have already given me the strength to declare the spiritual victory that has already been won on my behalf. In the natural, I am trying to battle the devil with logic and justice but the battle isn’t in the natural, so I’m coming before you to deploy your weapons, God, which have divine power to destroy strongholds. Heavenly Father, I know that this spiritual battle is against the rulers of the darkness, the powers of the darkness, the world forces of the darkness, and the spiritual forces of the darkness. This war is not fought in the natural. God, I need your supernatural weapons and power. I ask for your divine protection and supernatural strength so that I can handle this and stand firm against satan. I know it’s up to me to be alert, be of sober-mind, be proactive about using the Lord’s strength, put on the Armor of God (The Belt of Truth, The Breastplate of Righteousness, The Shoes of Peace, The Shield of Faith, The Helmet of Salvation, and The Sword of The Spirit), stand strong, and pray at all times. So, God, give me the courage to do these things and trust in the lord with all my heart as you’re making my path straight. I pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Today, I shared with you two Spirit-inspired deep spiritual warfare prayers for protection against satan. May they empower you. May they uplift you. May they strengthen you. May these prayers for spiritual warfare bless you in your current situation.

How you use prayer as a weapon always depends on your faith: faith in God and faith in you, meaning your perception of who you are in Christ.

READ: Who Am I In Christ?

I always struggled with identity. My mom hated me and didn’t want me born. When I was born, she dressed me up as a boy and called me a boy’s name Anton. My father was in jail but his family didn’t want anything to do with me. My mother’s mom, which whom we lived, was ashamed of me and asked me to never call her grandma in public. My mom encouraged me to commit suicide… Identity confusion was a part of my journey for decades, and so I walked in my own power, until I came to the end of myself.

That’s when I discovered what God says about me.
