Christian Guided Meditation by Anna Szabo of Online Discipleship for Women

Do you enjoy Christian guided meditation? I created free guided meditations with and without music. In my Biblical meditation library below, you’ll find Christian sleep meditation, I Am meditation, guided meditation for healing, and several PTSD meditation options for peace.

Introduction to Christian Meditation

In December of 2016, meditation saved my life. It was a difficult season as I was enduring narcissistic abuse in a marriage, suffering from depression, and experiencing severe suicidal thoughts.

There were days when I couldn’t breathe.

I was suffocating from anxiety and panic attacks, while commuting 100 miles a day, working an intense marketing job, leading meetings, creating new ideas, and having to be out there, acting as if everything was completely ok. Nothing was ok.

I was not ok.

That was why I sought out Biblical meditation.

The options available out there were commercialized and focused on the promotion of specific apps, so I wasn’t able to find any Biblical meditation options to fit my spiritual and emotional needs.

I discovered a few guided meditations for sleep and healing, and I meditated up to 16 times a day. Yes, life was excruciatingly painful at the time, and I could hardly function at all. Meditation literally helped me not to kill myself in that miserable, abuse, and cruel marriage.

Soon, I realized that what I needed wasn’t out there.

I wanted to meditate on the word of God, His promises to me, and His truth. He was the source of all healing, and His content was what I wanted and needed. That is how I started creating my own Christian guided meditation library. Every meditation was based on the word of God.

My Biblical meditation collection grew as I began sharing it with others online. Women would send me messages telling me how my meditations impacted them and helped them persevere another day.

Praise to the God of All Comfort

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.

2 Corinthians 1:3-4

All that feedback on my Christian guided meditation experiments inspired me to share more of what I was creating already just to help myself.

Initially, I purchased licenses for some music I liked. All my Christian meditations had music in them at the beginning of this journey.

Very soon, women began telling me in comments on YouTube that actually what they liked was my voice and they wanted there to be no music. That was a breakthrough idea. I had never heard of a voice-only meditation at the time and could hardly imagine what would be so relaxing about my voice and silence.

Well, you live and you learn.

I decided to remove music from many of my Christian meditations, and women loved the result. So, below, I offer you Christian guided meditation options with and without music. You choose!

By the way, in case you’re curious, I personally prefer voice-only, no music meditations today. Yep, sounds kind of weird but actually, I love it now!

Here’s a playlist for you to access my Biblical meditation library.

May my Christian guided meditation collection be a blessing to you. I hope that whatever you are going through, you will be comforted, recharged, restored, and renewed. The word of God has healing power. I also created free prayers to help you talk to God. Browse this Christian blog for women to see what other content will help encourage and empower you.

As you listen to my Christian sleep meditation collection, keep in mind that they were from 2017, and this blog is published years later. So, understand that when you read a script for each meditation, it reflects what was said in that audio at that time.

Let me tell you a little bit about the content of my meditations, where it came from, and how it actually helped me and many other women. The foundation of everything I do here, at Online Discipleship For Women, is my collection of 52 I Am affirmations called #52Devotionals.

I Am Meditation Collection

The 52 I Am affirmations used in my Christian meditation collection were all given to me by God when I decided to refocus from what The Narcissist said about me to what God said about me.

That was the beginning of my healing and life-transformation. Since then, I published all my 52 Biblical affirmations as devotionals, each focused on two scriptures and real-life practical applicability.

I also created an ebook, which I give away for free, so that every woman can focus on what God says about her. You deserved to understand and embrace your identity in Christ and be strong in the Lord.

So, here are all of the 52 Biblical affirmations used in my I Am meditation collection. The goal of this Christian meditation library is to encourage and empower you and help you create a joyful life by embracing God’s word.

If you’re looking for PTSD meditations (I was diagnosed with complex PTSD when married to The Narcissist), I created a special playlist for you on my YouTube channel. It’s dedicated to C-PTSD meditations. Here it is.

Some of my YouTube subscribers save my playlists and others add my Christian meditation videos into their own, already existing playlists. Choose what works best for you, and if you have any requests, leave a comment on this blog in the comments section below or post comments on my YouTube. I always respond to every comment, unless it’s spam or inappropriate, of course. So, comment away!

The cover image on this blog used to be the thumbnail for each of my meditations. Bruno, my Red-White Cocker Spaniel and muse, passed away in October of 2019.

Since then, I changed all my thumbnails as I was grieving my loss of Bruno, which is a huge topic I will address on this blog someday when I’m ready to talk about the trauma of having to put down your sick companion whose heart is failing making him suffocate right in front of you, daily.

I love you, Bruno, you helped me persevere through suicidal depression and heal. Thanks for our great life together! I miss you, puppy.

All of my Biblical meditations are available in two formats: audio and video. Each Christian guided meditation below has embedded audio and video players so that you don’t have to leave, can stay here, and listen to your preferred meditation in your preferred format.

Bookmark this blog post because I will be adding new meditations here. Also, sign up for emails to be notified when I release new helpful content. This ministry is dedicated to helping alleviate suicide among women globally by sharing hope in Christ. So, everything I do here at Online Discipleship For Women is done with my ultimate purpose in mind.

Christian Guided Meditation With Music

The Bible mentions the words “meditate” or “meditation” 23 times. To meditate means to reflect on specific knowledge, to ponder it, to dwell on it, to reflect on the meaning of that knowledge in the context of your life.

Study this Book of Instruction continually. Meditate on it day and night so you will be sure to obey everything written in it. Only then will you prosper and succeed in all you do.

Joshua 1:8

That is precisely what I am helping you do with my Christian sleep meditation, guided meditation for healing, PTSD meditation, and other Biblical meditations below. This chapter lists all my meditations with music, and the chapter that follows has the same content but without any music, spoken word only with a completely silent background.

Enjoy meditating on the word of God pondering its practical applicability to your current life situation.

Christian Guided Meditation Script by Anna Szabo

Welcome to this guided meditation for Christian women.

I am Anna Szabo from AnnaSzabo.com

I'll be guiding you through this journey of discovering how special and precious you are to God.

Right now, take some time to settle and silence your electronic devices.

Make sure nothing distracts you from this meditation.

You deserve this uninterrupted time and space.

You deserve a pause. You deserve relaxation.

Get comfortable.

This is YOU-time.

If you're all settled, let's begin.

Focus on your breath. Inhale. And exhale.

Inhale 1 2 3 4 5.

And exhale 1 2 3 4 5.

1. You Are a Child of God.

Bible: Galatians 3:26 says “So in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith”

Think about this for a moment. How precious you are to God, your Heavenly Father.

He loves you so much that He made you new through Jesus, so you can have a life of joy, freedom, and honor.

Practice this affirmation:

I am a child of God In Christ.
Through my faith, I became His daughter,
Having accepted wholeheartedly
Jesus' eternal sacrifice.

I am a child of God In Christ.
Through my faith, I became His daughter,
Having accepted wholeheartedly
Jesus' eternal sacrifice.

2. You are a Princess.

Bible: Psalm 136:26 says “Give thanks to the God of heaven. His love endures forever.‘

God’s love for you endures forever. You are loved, forever.

Romans 15:7 says “Accept one another, then, just as Christ accepted you”

Jesus accepted you. You are accepted.

1 Corinthians 6:11 says “...you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.”

You are justified. You are sanctified.

You are a daughter of the King, our Sovereign God.

Think about how significant it is to know that your sin and your faults have all been washed away. You are new. You are sanctified.

Practice this affirmation:

I am a Princess,
A daughter of the King,
Loved and accepted,
Sanctified and redeemed.

I am a Princess,
A daughter of the King,
Loved and accepted,
Sanctified and redeemed.

How do you feel knowing that you are a daughter of the King?

You are a Princess. Royalty. King's heir.
Your inheritance is God's Kingdom.

Nothing can take away your confidence in this truth: you are a Princess.

Nothing can separate you from the everlasting love of God. You are loved. You are accepted. You are worthy. You are a child of God.

3. You are Fearfully and Wonderfully Made.

Bible: Psalm 139:14 says “I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful‘

Ephesians 2:10 says “For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus”

You are wonderful. You are made in the image of God Himself.

Everything about you He created. Every aspect of you is a masterpiece.

You are whole. You are God's perfect creation.

Think about how special you are to God. How perfectly He made you.
There’s no one like you. You are one of a kind. A masterpiece.

You are perfect.

Practice this affirmation:

God created me not randomly but intentionally.
He crafted every part of me as His curious work.
He wants to perfect me to Christ-likeness eventually.
I am His precious and valuable artwork.

God created me not randomly but intentionally.
He crafted every part of me as His curious work.
He wants to perfect me to Christ-likeness eventually.
I am His precious and valuable artwork.

4. You are God's Glory on Display.

Bible: John 13:31-32 says “... Jesus said, “Now the Son of Man is glorified and God is glorified in him. If God is glorified in him, God will glorify the Son in himself, and will glorify him at once.”

Think about how much God is pleased with you.

Your life is for His glory and honor.

God is glorified because of who you are.

Practice this affirmation:

I am God's and in me He shows His glory.
This glory is mysterious, majestic, and holy.
With Christ, I've been sanctified and purified.
Through my thoughts, words, and deeds God is glorified.

I am God's and in me He shows His glory.
This glory is mysterious, majestic, and holy.
With Christ, I've been sanctified and purified.
Through my thoughts, words, and deeds God is glorified.

5. You are Worthy.

Bible: Galatians 2:20 says “I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.”

Think about how worthy you are that now Christ Himself lives in you.

There’s no need to feel guilt, shame, self-condemnation, or self-hatred.

You are a new creation in Christ. You are blameless. You are pure.

All your debt has been paid by Jesus.

You are holy.

Practice this affirmation:

For me, on the cross Jesus Christ died.
Because I'm worthy of God's love, He chose to be crucified.
I was washed with His blood, sanctified and justified,
By the Spirit of God, I have been purified.

For me, on the cross Jesus Christ died.
Because I'm worthy of God's love, He chose to be crucified.
I was washed with His blood, sanctified and justified,
By the Spirit of God, I have been purified.

6. You are Valuable.

Bible: Luke 12:7 says “Why, even the hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not - you are of more value than many sparrows.”

Think about how much God must appreciate and value you to count all your hair. This message shows how God dedicates His undivided personal attention to you. He takes time to learn every little detail about you. You are that valuable to God.

Romans 8:2 says “because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death.”

Think about how sin is no longer your master. The Holy Spirit who lives in you after you accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior gives you all the power you need to declare complete freedom from sin. You are free.

Matthew 5:16 says “In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.“

Think about how you can shine more light in the world. You are light.

Practice this affirmation:

I am the most valuable to my Father God,
And the number of my hair He knows,
To pay for my freedom and life Christ died,
To shine light in the world me He chose.

I am the most valuable to my Father God,
And the number of my hair He knows,
To pay for my freedom and life Christ died,
To shine light in the world me He chose.

7. You are Special and Chosen.

Bible: Genesis 2:7 says “Then the Lord God formed a man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.”

1 Thessalonians 1:4 says “For we know, brothers and sisters loved by God, that he has chosen you”

1 Peter 2:9 says “But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.”

Think about how much God wanted you that He made you so unique.

God created you out of nothingness - to be. You are that special.

God chose you. He has a purpose for you. He made you so precious.

He made you His child, a Princess, with a royal privilege of having a purpose. You matter. You make a difference. You are important.

Practice this affirmation:

I am special, I am chosen,
Formed from dust in God's own image
Made alive just by His Spirit,
With a purpose as a royal privilege.

I am special, I am chosen,
Formed from dust in God's own image
Made alive just by His Spirit,
With a purpose as a royal privilege.

8. You are a Difference-Maker.

Bible: Ephesians 2:10 says “For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”

Think about the purpose of your life, your mission here, your ministry in the community, your impact on people, and what positive difference you make. You make a difference. The world is a better place because of you. You are here for a good reason. God has a mission for you.

Practice this affirmation:

I was put on earth to make a difference.
My contribution matters to the world.
Serving and glorifying God is my interest,
Because Jesus me with His life served.

I was put on earth to make a difference.
My contribution matters to the world.
Serving and glorifying God is my interest,
Because Jesus me with His life served.

9. You are Gifted.

Bible: Romans 6:23 says “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

Think about the special gift of eternal life you received from God.

Your life will go on and on. You will be forever.

Allow yourself to experience gratitude right now.

Practice this affirmation:

I am gifted by my Father God.
From Him the gift of eternal life I got.
This special gift I received by faith through Christ,
With gratitude that for me His life was sacrificed.

I am gifted by my Father God.
From Him the gift of eternal life I got.
This special gift I received by faith through Christ,
With gratitude that for me His life was sacrificed.

10. You are Creative.

Bible: Exodus 35:31 says “and he has filled him with the Spirit of God, with wisdom, with understanding, with knowledge and with all kinds of skills”

Think about your special skills, talents, and abilities.

Your ideas are very creative. Your ideas are great. Your ideas matter.

You have wisdom, knowledge, and understanding to make an impact.

Your ideas are effective. Your ideas are powerful.

Practice this affirmation:

I am creative, knowledgeable, and intelligent.
Skillful, I have been blessed by God.
In my creativity pursuit I am diligent,
Using the special gifts I from Heaven got.

I am creative, knowledgeable, and intelligent.
Skillful, I have been blessed by God.
In my creativity pursuit I am diligent,
Using the special gifts I from Heaven got.

11. You are Wise.

Bible: Isaiah 11:2 says “The Spirit of the Lord will rest on him, the Spirit of wisdom and of understanding, the Spirit of counsel and of might,  the Spirit of the knowledge and fear of the Lord.”

Think about the wisdom of God available to you at all times.

You have good discernment. The Holy Spirit in you gives you wisdom.

In any situation, you just ask, and you shall receive wisdom from your counsel who is God Himself. All-knowing. With infinite intelligence.

Romans 5:3-5 says “Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance, perseverance - character, and character - hope. And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.”

Think about how much pain you’re persevered through in life. That perseverance produced your character. Your character is what gives hope to others around you. When people see what you’ve been through and whom you’ve become, the child of God, His glory, it gives them hope.

Practice this affirmation:

I am wise and I show a good judgement.
Jesus has become for me wisdom from God.
My experiences for the hope of others are meant.
My wisdom is with the Holy Spirit intact.

I am wise and I show a good judgement.
Jesus has become for me wisdom from God.
My experiences for the hope of others are meant.
My wisdom is with the Holy Spirit intact.

12. You are Powerful.

Bible: Acts 1:8 says “you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you.”

Philippians 4:13 says “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.“

Think about the power you have through Christ. Never doubt yourself.

You want to go to the best school to study for your dream career? You can. You want to be a CEO on a global enterprise? You can. You want to speak in front of thousands of people with your special message? You can. You want to learn new skills? You can. You want to be kind and patient? You can. You want to be loving and compassionate? You an.

Practice this affirmation:

I can do anything and everything through Christ.
To empower me, His precious life He sacrificed.
I am capable, competent, skilled, and effective.
Jesus gave me power and issued against my self-doubt directive.

I can do anything and everything through Christ.
To empower me, His precious life He sacrificed.
I am capable, competent, skilled, and effective.
Jesus gave me power and issued against my self-doubt directive.

13. You are Courageous.

Bible: Joshua 1:9 says “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid, do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”

Think about this truth about you. God commands you to be courageous. In every situation, you can declare this truth: God will be with you wherever you go. You are strong and courageous in Christ.

Practice this affirmation:

I am courageous, fearless, and brave.
I am tenacious, gutsy, and daring.
In every situation I valiantly behave.
In every trial I'm God's truth declaring.

I am courageous, fearless, and brave.
I am tenacious, gutsy, and daring.
In every situation I valiantly behave.
In every trial I'm God's truth declaring.

14. You are Blessed.

Bible: Psalm 32:1 says “Blessed is the one whose transgressions are forgiven, whose sins are covered.”  |

Think about the new identity you have in Christ. Your debt is paid. Your sin is forgiven. You are new, redeemed, holy, and God calls you blessed.

Ephesians 1:3 says “Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ.”

Think about being consistently called “blessed” throughout the Bible.
Count your blessings. Make it a habit to intentionally feel blessed daily.

Start a ‘gratitude journal“ and write just a few things there regularly. The things you consider blessings, like health, clean drinking water, plenty of food, close friendships, and even this device you’re listening the mediation on right now. You have so many blessings. Count them.

Don’t let the day go by without pausing to realize how blessed you are.

The biggest blessing of all is your eternal life with Jesus in Heaven. What a blessing to have such certainty about your future. You never have to wonder. You never have to guess. You know for sure about your future.

Practice this affirmation:

I am blessed by God with every spiritual blessing.
My transgressions are forgiven and my sins are covered.
Without Jesus about my future I was wondering and guessing,
But now my future is certain because God's grace I discovered.

I am blessed by God with every spiritual blessing.
My transgressions are forgiven and my sins are covered.
Without Jesus about my future I was wondering and guessing,
But now my future is certain because God's grace I discovered.

15. You are Loved.

Bible: John 3:16 says “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”

Think about how loved you are that God sent Jesus to redeem you from any sin, fault, debt, and to set you free. You are loved. Unconditionally.

Romans 5:8 says “But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”

Think about God’s unconditional love toward you. He doesn’t require you to change. He asks you: come as you are. He sent Christ to show His love for you, with no conditions. God’s love is yours. Nothing you need to do to deserve this love, to earn it, to win it. You are loved already. Just the way you are. Right now. You are fully loved already by your Heavenly Father, forever, for eternity

Practice this affirmation:

I'm loved by God unconditionally for eternity.
For my salvation and life His Son He sacrificed.
Nothing can take away from me this certainty:
I am inseparable from the love of Jesus Christ.

I'm loved by God unconditionally for eternity.
For my salvation and life His Son He sacrificed.
Nothing can take away from me this certainty:
I am inseparable from the love of Jesus Christ.

Forgiveness Meditation With Music

Forgiveness can be a decision in a moment, a process of letting go, and a lifelong commitment to releasing yourself from the prison of resentment and bitterness. That’s right. When people hurt you, it’s painful, they inflicted pain on you. But when you don’t forgive, your pain becomes self-inflicted.

I know what it’s like to be a prisoner of bitterness, resentment, anger, cynicism, and sarcasm as a result of not forgiving. Meditation Music For Relaxation And Dreaming by Kevin Macleod.

Forgiveness is the action or process of forgiving or being forgiven.

This meditation is about forgiving someone who hurt you.

Forgiveness can be a decision in a moment, a process of letting go, and a lifelong commitment to releasing yourself from the prison of resentment and bitterness

That's right. When people hurt you, it's painful, they inflicted pain on you. But when you don't forgive, your pain becomes self-inflicted.

I know what it's like to be a prisoner of bitterness, resentment, anger, cynicism, and sarcasm as a result of not forgiving.

I know because I grew up in Russia abused by the very people who were supposed to love me.

I didn't know my father.

My mother told me regularly that she hated me and wanted me dead.

I was raped.

I had a miscarriage at 17.

After I  got married and moved to America, I endured domestic violence for months until police took me to a shelter. I was homeless.

I got married last year and my IronMan husband filed for a divorce 4 months later calling his bicycle "My other wife I cheat on you with."

I know the pain of a broken heart.

I understand your pain. I care about your pain.

I care about your heart.

I care about your mental health.

Not forgiving drugged me into a deep, dark depression.

That's why I'm here to tell you: forgive. It's in your best interest.

Stop taking the poison of unforgiveness.

Set yourself free from bitterness.

Move on toward your beautiful future with a light heart.

That is why you need to consider forgiving.

How do you forgive?

You decide.

Make the decision today.

And then when grief comes and all the pain is stirred up by the negative memories again, you forgive again.

And you go on. You forgive by deciding.

Buy balloons and write each offender's name on a balloon, write on it the offense too, and let the balloons go one at a time.

Cry. Grieve. Mourn. So you can move on and be free.

Forgive.

Write a goodbye letter in your journal.

RELATED: an Open Letter to My Mother

Close it once and for all.

You're moving on!

Remember to grieve. Take some quiet time, be sad, acknowledge your losses and all your pain.

And then forgive.
Let go.

Set yourself free from prison of bitterness.

You deserve this emotional freedom.
You deserve authentic joy.
You deserve to have a light heart.
You deserve to live your life to the fullest.

Forgiving sets you free.

Forgive.

Forgiveness is a lifelong journey.
It's a decision to set people free
From the debt of offense they owe you,
Issuing them an intentional debt-free decree.

The beneficiary of that decree though is not them -
It's your heart that experiences liberation
From anger & bitterness as you no longer condemn,
So issue people the forgiveness decree with no hesitation.

Forgive people often, or daily or even hourly.
Decide to quit taking the resentment poisons.
Commit to letting go of grudges sincerely
And move light-heartedly toward your new horizons.

Self-Care Meditation With Music

This self-care meditation was born out of the content for my dating course on Udemy. These tips were a part of the curriculum I developed as I was learning to spend time with myself, to get to know myself, to figure out my likes, dislikes, and boundaries. Since then, I added a lot of great content to that original material, and I turned it into this self-care meditation.

Christian Guided Meditation Script by Anna Szabo

Welcome to this meditation.

I am Anna Szabo from AnnaSzabo.com and I will be guiding you today through the process of creating a self-care plan.

Please get comfortable. Turn off all your electronic devices. Close your eyes. Allow your mind to receive what I am about to give.

You are a beautiful woman of God. You have your body, your soul, your heart, and your mind, and each aspect of you needs special attention and thoughtful care.

We often experience guilt and shame when we take the time to invest into ourselves. It appears as if we were stealing that time from our loved ones, careers, and families.

The reality is that if we don’t recharge our minds, refocus on true priorities, re-establish our direction, and regain our clarity and drive, we will have nothing to give.

We can’t be our best if we are exhausted. We can’t give love and care to others out of nothingness and emptiness in us.

What Is Self-Care?

Self care is care provided “for you, by you.” It's about identifying your own needs and taking steps to meet them. It is taking the time to do some of the activities that nurture you. Self care is about taking proper care of yourself and treating yourself as kindly as you treat others. Self care is the key to your mental health.

What Does The Bible Say About Self Care?

1 Corinthians 6:19-20 says “Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body.”

You are God’s. The Holy Spirit lives in your body.

Ask yourself: “Do I take care of my body with love and intention?”

1 Corinthians 10:31 says “So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.”

Ask yourself: “Do what I eat and how I eat give glory to God?”

Proverbs 11:17 says: “A man who is kind benefits himself, but a cruel man hurts himself.”

Ask yourself: "Do I fuel my heart with kindness so I can be kind or am I exhausted and cruel in my interactions with people and with that I hurt myself and others?"

Luke 10:27 says “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind, and your neighbor as yourself.”

For you to love others and God, you must first love yourself.

Ask yourself: “Do I love and care for myself with with all my heart, soul, and strength, so that I can love others and God from a place of inner abundance?”

James 1:5 says “If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him.”

Ask yourself: “Do I spend time with God to pray and ask Him for wisdom since I don’t have His infinite intelligence but He knows everything? Do I ask God questions? Do I hear answers from Him to have clear direction for my daily life?”

Self-Care Poem

Practicing self-care brings inner peace
As trials and challenges you daily bear.
Your satisfaction with life to increase,
You for yourself must proactively care.

Intentional self-care includes healthy sleep,
Nutrition and fitness and time outside,
Practicing mindfulness and breathing deep,
Helping your mind in peace to abide.

Self-care requires also remembering
Who you are, whose you are, and why you are here.
When life gets too tough and when you are trembling,
Focus on prayer and God who is near.

Self-care includes the things you love doing:
Cooking and reading, applying a hair mask,
Writing and journaling, comedy viewing,
Or simply completing a homemaking task.

Going to church, talking with friends,
Getting your nails done, visiting spa,
Kayaking, hiking ... list never ends!
You deserve YOU-time to sharpen your saw.

Narcissistic Abuse Meditation With Music

This guided meditation for healing was key to my narcissistic abuse recovery. I lived in multiple realities with Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. The narcissist manipulated me to believe that I was crazy, guilty for his faults, and mentally incompetent. My healing took years, but the starting point was the word of God and this Narcissistic Abuse Meditation.

Christian Guided Meditation Script by Anna Szabo

You are a kind, loving, compassionate, considerate, warmhearted, thoughtful, sensitive, tender, and empathic woman of God.

That is why the Narcissist targeted you. And me.

I will be speaking from experience.

RELATED: Narcissistic Abuse Examples

Welcome to this meditation for Christian women.

I am Anna Szabo from AnnaSzabo.com and I will be guiding you through your journey of understanding Narcissistic Abuse, the dynamics of mental cruelty you’ve endured, why the Narcissist chose you as his Narcissistic Victim, and how you can heal and move on.

The goal of this meditation is for you to remember and believe:
it is not your fault.

Today, we will focus on understanding Narcissistic silent treatment, projection, reptilian stare, and mental cruelty as the strategies that the Narcissist uses to manipulate you into self-doubt, mental haze, depression, and suicidal thoughts.

It is NOT your fault.

You are NOT crazy.

You are being abused and manipulated.

I will explain in detail HOW exactly the Narcissist does this to you so eloquently.

And you will see that it’s not you. It’s him. He is at fault. It’s his issue.

You will have a breakthrough and good understanding of what you have endured in the relationship with the Narcissist. And I will also teach you a secret antidote for Narcissistic Abuse.

I was suffering from depression and suicidal thoughts while being manipulated by the Narcissist and abused my him. I know how you feel.

Why is the Narcissist who he is and what is his problem?

The Bible says in Romans 16:17-19: “I appeal to you, brothers, to watch out for those who cause divisions and create obstacles contrary to the doctrine that you have been taught; avoid them. For such persons do not serve our Lord Christ, but their own appetites, and by smooth talk and flattery they deceive the hearts of the naive.”

Proverbs 4:16 says: “For they cannot sleep unless they have done wrong; they are robbed of sleep unless they have made someone stumble.”

This is truly the very description of the cruel intentions the Narcissist has toward you. He won’t rest until he knows you’re suffering.

I wrote a poem for you about this, so you can understand what is happening and why you endure mental cruelty from the Narcissist.

"The Narcissist Manipulates You"

Verbal trickery is the Narcissist's preferred method of manipulation.
He has a talent for saying the right thing to confuse and degrade you.
The Narcissist wants of your mind complete and total domination,
And in your worthlessness and uselessness his goal is to persuade you.

The unrelenting mind games of the Narcissist are incredibly damaging.
You are left traumatized with emotional pain that has no end.
You become mentally crippled with inability to be managing
Even of your own mind and sanity command.

In the midst of it, you are not understanding what is happening.
You feel crazy, confused, and paralyzed by self-doubt all the time.
You don't know how to escape from the manipulation that's so saddening
That all you do daily is just try to out of depression climb.

The "you have misunderstood what I was saying" and "stop assuming" are his favorite phrases.
He has no explanation for anything, except these two.
He made you believe he had a soul in the relationship's earlier phases,
So now about the cause of his emptiness you're puzzled and seek a breakthrough.

Don't. The answer is there's nothing there, just emptiness.
Everything else you saw before was a clever pretense to deceive you.
Don't feel for the Narcissist compassion or pittiness,
Because he will gladly use those feelings to further manipulate and mislead you.

The hallmarks of the Narcissist are

grandiosity
lack of empathy
and need for admiration

50 to 75 percent of the people diagnosed with narcissistic personality disorder are men.

The Narcissist is frequently described as

arrogant
self-centered
manipulative
and demanding

The Narcissist may often obsess about his grandiose fantasies:

his success
handsomeness
his brilliance or cleverness
his body
the size of his muscles
the number of medals he won

The Narcissist believes he is superior and special.

He doesn’t have any other way to survive because his Real Self is an empty shell, so he must puff up his Ego.

His identity is rooted in admiration and praise.

I wrote a poem for you that explains why people don’t believe that this “nice guy” is cruel to you.

It has to do with his hunger for praise, admiration, and approval.

"The Narcissist Is Eager For Approval"

Why can so many people hardly believe
The cruel treatment you've endured from the Narcissist?
Because exceptional deception he is able to achieve
And, in light of his charm, his cruel intentions are by people either unnoticed or just completely dismissed.

The Narcissist is very skilled at pretending to be a People Pleaser.
His plan to persuade everyone in it is very clever.
He works overtime to conquer people's minds and opinions like Caesar.
Of being real, the Narcissist thinks never.

Being liked by people is how the Narcissist gets praise.
Praise is his food vital for survival.
The Narcissist must obsessively others' approval constantly chase.
Otherwise, of his Narcissistic Supply he will experience deadly deprival.

The Narcissist seeks excessive admiration and attention in order to know that others think highly of him.

The Narcissist has a tremendous difficulty tolerating criticism or defeat.

If you say to him anything other than praise, his Ego Self suffers so much, he no longer will have the solid make-believe Ego-puffing reality he built for himself to survive.

Saying something critical about the Narcissist is a sure way to become his target for hatred and rage.
The Narcissist can’t stand any rejection either since rejection destroys his identity, which is in Ego. He will eagerly reject you if he fears that you might reject him or if you mentioned that you may leave.

But you don’t even have to reject the Narcissist at all.

All you need to do is to be successful, and he will hate you with passion already.

The Narcissist lives in the world where success is a scarce commodity and there’s just not enough success for everyone, meaning your being successful takes aways from his success.

The Narcissist constantly compares himself to you and feels like he doesn’t measure up.

I wrote a poem about it for you to help you make sense of how come he adored and pursued you for the very qualities that now cause him to hate you.

"The Narcissist Is Driven By Jealousy"

The Narcissist is jealous of your accomplishments.
He targeted you for your beauty and smarts -
Because for having you he loves getting compliments;
But that is also where his hatred toward you starts

The Narcissist lives in the world of scarci
Your success to him means that he doesn't measure up.
He hates on you with laser-focused clarity,
Aiming to completely empty your emotional cup.

He drains your energy and hope out of you
By gaslighting you to make you feel crazy.
He also meticulously projects his every fault on you,
So that it looks like your mind is confused and hazy.

To intentionally devalue you and to make you feel worthless,
The Narcissist exercises another clever technique.
It's called Narcissistic Silent Abuse and it's a very painful nonsense,
Because he completely ignores you and for months with you doesn't speak.

He doesn't acknowledge your existence or presence,
He makes sure you feel useless and worthless,
Unless he needs money from you or presents,
Then, he will be nice until his next nonsense.

In the Narcissist's make-believe universe,
He is the All-Mighty All-Powerful Superior.
Even if for months his erratic behavior toward you is adverse,
He easily continues to maintain with others a pleasant exterior.

But you are his survival-essential Narcissist Supply,
So prepare to be attacked with long-lasting mental cruelty.
Get ready, because the Narcissist wants you to die,
And he won't tolerate your success continuity.

In his own head, the Narcissist constantly competes with you.
For him to feel better about himself, you must fail.
So, with his well-thought cruel techniques, he confuses you.
And you get so depressed that you can no longer avail.
How Did He Become The Narcissist?

Narcissistic Personality Disorder is a byproduct of certain childhood family environments.

All children want their parents’ approval and attention.

The Narcissist was severely traumatized as a child at about 2 years old.

Extensive research done with infants and mothers together shows that humans’  attachment style is in place between the first and second year of life.

It does not change significantly throughout adulthood.

Situations that can cause insecure attachment can occur when caretakers are unable to sense their baby’s needs and end up responding in ways that are frustrating to the infant.

Insecure attachment styles can also result if parents are unavailable to meet their child’s emotional needs.

If the Narcissist’s primary caregiver passed away, went to jail, got depressed, or disappeared when the Narcissist was about 2 years old, he felt abandoned all these years and fundamentally unlovable.

It causes him to never feel loved by you.

From the shame of feeling unloved, he has to puff up his Ego.

No matter what you do, the Narcissist feels unloved. Because he feels fundamentally unlovable.

It is not caused by you.

It is caused by his childhood trauma.

It’s not your fault.

Here's a poem I wrote for you to help you understand what is happening between you and the Narcissist and why you are dying emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. It’s not your fault.

"The Narcissist Is Confused About His Identity"

The Narcissist grew up unable to bond with his primary caregiver.
He possibly had even multiple caregivers he was passed to.
As a child, he was of confusing messages about himself receiver,
So today to survive, his ego to constantly puff up he has to.

He hates his story and pretends to be someone different.
He goes to a great length to cover up his true identity.
To the impact of his deception he is absolutely indifferent,
Because even he himself doesn't have of who he is any clarity.

The shame-filled and confused Narcissist needs you desperately.
As his Narcissistic Supply, you provide validation and admiration.
From praise his fragile, flimsy ego can't survive separately.
So, the Narcissist with cruelty manipulates you into his insanity with no hesitation.

I know how much empathy, compassion, and love you feel for the wounded Narcissist.

But his pain is not your fault.

Let’s understand what exactly the Narcissist is doing with your mind, sanity, and dignity so you can protect yourself and your mind.

Here’s a poem I wrote that is an overall, big-picture explanation of what’s going on and how the Narcissist’s fragile Ego fuels his cruelty.

"The Narcissist's Ego Is Fragile"

The Narcissist's ego is fragile like a bomb,
Because his identity is rooted in nothing solid.
He will be charming, cherishing, and very calm,
As long as toward him you are admiring and torrid.

But if you say to him anything other than praise,
He will explode toward you with long-lasting anger and hatred.
He will meticulously manipulate you into complete haze
Where from your sanity and dignity you become separated.

The Narcissist has no concern for you at all,
Except he needs you to feed his ego with admiration.
So, when you refuse to be his Narcissistic Supply anymore,
The Narcissist will instantly want you dead with no hesitation.

The first mental cruelty technique in the Narcissist’s toolkit is Silent Treatment.

What Is Narcissistic Silent Treatment?

Silent Treatment is a common punishment in many relationships.

It is manifested by one partner who completely ignores the other.

He treats you as if you were invisible or absent, even if you are standing right in front of him or talking to him.

Silent treatment is more abusive than physical harm as it can be more appropriately thought of as a form of torture.

This is especially true the longer it goes on.

The Narcissist uses Silent Treatment  to express his contempt or disapproval of you.

I experienced months of Silent Treatment, all while the Narcissist was spending my entire paycheck, leaving me with no money for food.

I know how you feel. I know how painful it is to be treated as nothingness.

To help you understand Narcissistic Silent Treatment and its cruelty, I wrote this poem for you.,

"Narcissistic Silent Treatment"

To control, punish, intimidate, and invalidate you,
The Narcissist uses Silent Treatment chronically.
With that, this Eternal Child intends to demonstrate to you
How worthless you are to him, ironically.

"Ironically" because he actually needs you to supply
Admiration, attention, money, and praise for him.
Yet, superbly the childish Narcissist will apply
Silent Treatment until you with self-doubt he can brim.

The Narcissist is self-absorbed, moody, aloof, and egotistical.
He won't even blink abusing you and taking money from you at the same time.
And while to you this behavior appears to be erratic and mystical,
To the empathy-lacking, feelingless Narcissist doing it is no grime.

Narcissistic Silent Treatment is aimed to express
The Narcissist's disapproval of you and his anger and rage.
He's a never-grown Little Boy who wants you to oppress,
While into productive conflict resolution you, as an adult, try him to engage.

The Silent Treatment is used by this Eternal Child to send you a message
Of how insignificant and worthless you are to him.
It's because the immature Narcissist can't a productive dialogue manage,
Since he has such a poor self-image and low self-esteem.

The Narcissist has such a fragile ego
That he needs your energy and eats you alive.
Constantly putting you down for him is very intriguing,
Because that's how he puffs-up his Ego to survive.

The Narcissist never develops the ability to identify with the feelings of others.

He has no empathy or sympathy.

The Narcissist views the people in their lives as objects.

For him, you are there to serve his needs.

The Narcissist doesn’t think twice about taking advantage of you to achieve his goals.

It’s not your fault. You are loving, kind, and empathic. It’s not you, it’s him. You are doing everything right. YOu are there to love him with all your heart. You are not guilty. His faults are not your faults.

The Narcissist projects his faults on you.

What  Is Narcissistic Projection?

This mental manipulation technique is very, very hard to spot, recognize, and explain.

Projection is a defense mechanism used to displace responsibility of one’s negative behavior and traits by attributing them to someone else. It ultimately acts as a digression that avoids ownership and accountability.

The Narcissist doesn’t just project his faults and failings, character flaws and bad acts onto you, he also projects his feelings, emotions, and beliefs onto you.

In my story of Narcissistic Abuse, the Narcissist was at fault. But I felt guilty.

I internalized his every fault.

His faults are not your faults.

I wrote a poem for you to help you understand the dynamics and complexity of Narcissistic Projection.

You must know that it’s not your fault.

You must understand that he won’t stop.

Mental manipulation is his way of relating to you because he is all good and you are all bad, in his Ego’s eyes.

“The Narcissist Projects His Faults On You”

Projection is Narcissist's favorite trick.
It's his fine art of making you feel guilty for his vices.
He exhausts you with his manipulation and makes you mentally weak.
Then, he starts Silent Treatment on you and to make sense of his cruelty you're left to your own devices.

You have been harmed by the evil Narcissist
Who once upon a time portrayed himself as a genuine person.
But nothing genuine or vulnerable in him even exists.
The more you trust the Narcissist, the more his mental cruelty will worsen.

The Narcissist doesn't see you for who you are.
In fact, he doesn't see you at all.
His relationship with you is so bizarre
Because your only value is to praise and admiration supply to his ego-filled soul.

So, how is he so successful at projecting his faults on you?
Well, remember that relationship phase when he was cherishing and sweet?
That's when the Narcissist persuaded you
That he is trustworthy and that his companionship you really need.

Later on, the Narcissist rendered you as his victim to emotional terror,
Which you had to deny for a while to simply survive.
This mental coping mechanism has been practiced by war prisoners forever.
It's when you stop trusting your own perception of reality to be able to stay alive.

So, the Narcissist projects his faults on you easily,
Because you lost confidence from abuse and doubt your every thought.
With time, as the scope of his mental cruelty is increasing,
To project more and to gaslight you more the Narcissist ought.

 The Narcissist gaslights you.

How Narcissistic Gaslighting Works

Narcissistic Gaslighting is a form of psychological abuse used by the Narcissist in order to instill in you an extreme sense of anxiety and confusion to the point where you no longer trust your own memory, perception, or discernment.

Over time, this mental manipulation strategy leads to finally undermining the mental stability of the Narcissistic Victim.

It is a very dangerous form of abuse.

Unable to trust my own discernment, I started to question the reality of everything in my own life with the Narcissist.

I begun to doubt my every decision and second-guess my every thought.

This resulted in becoming very insecure, depressed, and withdrawn, feeling mentally incompetent and crazy.

I was in bed, hopeless, not wanting to even move.

Here’s a poem I wrote for you about Narcissistic Gaslighting to help you see exactly what he is doing to your mind and  that it’s not your fault.

You are not crazy, your reality is the actual reality, you are normal, you can trust your perception and discernment.

"The Narcissist Gaslights You"

Gaslighting is a form of psychological abuse
Used by the Narcissist in order to instill in you as his victi
An extreme sense of anxiety so you become completely confused,
To the point where you no longer trust your discerning mental system.

The emotional damage of Gaslighting is huge on the Narcissist's victim.
Gaslighting is truly the most powerful covert method of Narcissistic Control.
You are mentally manipulated to never be able to predict him,
And to make you feel crazy and brain-scattered is his primary goal.

The Narcissist's agenda is to first kill your confidence.
He needs your energy and glow but also feels that he himself doesn't measure up.
That's why he meticulously sets out to make you doubt your own mental competence,
So that with self-doubt, sadness, and insecurity is filled your emotional cup.

He's very clever at making you doubt the reality of your own perception.
He's very intentional at persuading you to question the evidence of your own senses.
The facts are always twisted is the Narcissist's very believable deception
To make it seem as if he were a victim so that you pay his expenses.

The Narcissist constantly hides whatever makes him feel ashamed,
But if he can't hide, he will just skillfully lie.
He is terrified if his actions create negative consequences to establish the truth aimed.
He will work over time to persuade anyone that you are crazy and he is just a good guy.

When the Narcissist practices Silent Treatment, Projection, or Gaslighting,  you experience his scary flat eyes full of nothingness.

They are empty and as he stares at you, you feel like your blood is turning into ice. You lose a part of yourself looking him in the eye.
The Narcissist’s Reptilian Stare

This reptilian look in unsettling because it has a predatory aspect.

It often happens suddenly, when you disagree or are not sufficiently worshipful of the Narcissist's awesomeness.

It's an aspect of Narcissistic Rage, but instead of outrageous anger, it's like watching a fuse on a bomb.

The Narcissist’s Reptilian Stare is intense, hypnotic, and makes your blood run cold.

I wrote this poem for you to help you understand the purpose of Narcissistic Reptilian Stare.

"The Narcissist's Reptilian Stare"

To look the Narcissist in the eye is the beginning of losing a part of yourself.
He takes so much. He takes everything you have.
He then leaves behind just a shell of you, while he himself
Goes on and just tells people lies on your behalf.

Looking the Narcissist in the eye is dangerous.
His very goal is to suck your life out of you.
He often stares at you, which feels very mysterious,
But the reason why he does it is to intentionally intimidate you.

His Reptilian Stare is coupled with complete lack of empathy or remorse.
This nerve-racking stare is often accompanied by Silent Treatment.
Experiencing it, you feel intimidated and scared of course,
And that's the goal of the Narcissist who's to your feelings absolutely indifferent.

Trapped in his make-believe Ego-puffing pathology,
The Narcissist resembles an alien on drugs.
Being eaten alive by an alligator is a relevant to your life analogy,
Because with his Reptilian Stare the Narcissist meticulously into death you drags.

After I started sharing my story of enduring Narcissistic Abuse, women begun sending me letters telling me how they are going through the same thing.

They were asking me how come we get targeted by these manipulative and cruel abusers.

Why Did He Target You As His Narcissistic Victim?

Because you are an amazing, kind, compassionate, and empathic human being. You are an empath.

Empaths are people who are highly perceptive and insightful.

The evil Narcissist is attracted to you due to your high empathy and  compassion.
Every wonderful character quality that makes you such an amazing human being is the very reason why you became a victim of Narcissistic Abuse.

It’s not your fault.

It is not your fault.

I blamed myself every day for the Narcissist's faults.

I want to help you.
Why Is The Narcissist Such An Expert In Mental Cruelty?

The Narcissist takes great pleasure at just making you suffer for the sake of it.

"The Narcissist Is A Chief Deceiver And Liar"

The Narcissist's primary agenda in life
Is to sneakingly get away with something.
He can even set out to get himself a whole new wife,
If in an Ego boost for him resolves that hunting.

He can also get himself a new last name,
Searching for a new victim and running away from past shame.
He will lie to you about who he is and honesty claim.
Overall, he will do anything to get you involved in his make-believe love game.

The Narcissist is a Chief Deceiver and Liar.
To lure you into his premeditated deception, he will go to a great length.
He needs desperately someone him to admire.
Without praise, admiration, and compliments, he has no strength.

It's because the Narcissist has a very fragile ego.
No one and nothing is important to him but praise.
When the Narcissist is pursuing you, it can be very intriguing,
But only until he quickly ends that short-term happy phase.

After the Narcissist had successfully lured you,
He resorts to just being himself and eating you alive.
His mistakes and faults start being projected by him on you.
And at that point, he wants nothing less than your very life.

How Can You Help The Narcissist?

You can’t. You need to get out to take care of yourself before he manipulates you into either committing suicide or a mental institution.
The Narcissist hates you not because of you but because of his emptiness and self-hatred. He hates you because you don’t hate him.

You can’t resolve it for him because he doesn’t want to acknowledge it ever.

And because you see how broken, damaged, and traumatized the empty-shelled Narcissist is, he hates you and threatens you.

Take his threats seriously.

Get out and move on.

Here’s a poem I wrote for you to help you understand what is happening to you right now so you don’t think it’s your fault.

"Loving The Narcissist"

Loving the Narcissist is like taking poison and dying slowly.
He is so miserable and he can't stand that you are not.
He hates you for your joy and wants to make you feel so lonely
That you forget anything good or positive you ever thought.

The Narcissist has a very fragile ego.
He is full of insecurities, self-hatred, and shame.
For him, to manipulate you into darkness is very intriguing,
And to make you feel confused and doubtful is his primary aim.

"The Narcissist wants you dead" - my trauma counselor told me.
I didn't believe her at first but later saw that is was true.
With his Narcissistic Gaslighting and Projection, the Narcissist sold me
On the idea that of his own abuse he genuinely had no clue.

The Narcissist won't leave you alone, ever.
You are his Narcissistic Supply needed to survive.
He is fueled by the idea of making you suffer forever.
He is pleased knowing that, abused by him, you can't thrive.

You can't help the Narcissist by loving him,
Because he doesn't just feel by you unloved -
From his childhood, he feels fundamentally unlovable.
That's not anything you can get for him resolved.

To be targeted and attacked by the Narcissist,
All you need to do is to breathe and be.
For him to hate you, it's enough that you simply exist
But if you're happy and joyful, he won't ever set you free.

He will continue to devastate you relentlessly.
He wants you to be drained and miserable like him.
To ensure that you feel hopeless, he will work restlessly,
Until he witnesses with pleasure that being depressed you begin.

Loving the Narcissist leads you not just to deadend -
It takes you quickly to the real hell on earth.
And as long as to genuinely care you tend,
The Narcissist will hate you vigorously and intensely for all he's worth.

What Is The Antidote For Narcissistic Abuse?

Self-care is the only help you can get. It comes from you.

You first need to empower your mind and I have here Biblical affirmations meditations to help you.

You need to exercise and eat healthy to care for your body.

You need people to pray for you, so go to church as a part of your self-care plan. Connect with people who will love on you.

I also wrote a poem for you that represents the only secret I found as an antidote for Narcissistic Abuse. It’s a poem about self-care.

The antidote for Narcissistic Abuse is self-care.
Self-care enables you to get back your sanity and power.
To heal your mind, daily meditation and devotionals headspace you need, where
With biblical truth about who you are your your soul you empower.

Having endured Narcissistic Gaslighting, Silent Treatment, and Projection,
You're mentally, emotionally, and physically exhausted and sick.
Your mind needs now very strong and solid protection.
You can only get it if Biblical truth you devotedly seek.

Meditate on Biblical affirmations every day:
"I am a child of God, "I'm special," "I'm valuable."
With passion out loud these affirmations say.
God's truth plants in your mind powerful seeds that are viable.

Self-care is how you survive and thrive.
Eat healthy, exercise, journal, and sleep 8 hours.
If sleeping is troublesome, to use essential oils strive.
Also, to have quality sleep help warm bedtime showers.

Walk outside in the sun for some time.
It might be difficult to make yourself do it initially.
Go slowly and try just a few steps at a time,
Until 10,000 steps a day you can claim officially.

Most importantly, spend quality time with God.
Cry out to Him about your pain and confusion.
Ask Him to free you from all the mental mud
The Narcissist instilled in you with his well-planned delusion.

Self-care must become your new daily habit.
Every time you endure cruelty from the Narc, meditate and pray.
You must also figure out how to no longer with him cohabit.
While you live in the same house, he will surely on you prey.

Ask God to show you His plan for your way out.
Fill your mind up regularly with the Gospel.
Get to a safe place where you can heal from self-doubt
And where you can have peaceful environment and not hostile.

Self-care also means that you will intentionally refocus.
You do need to understand what happened to you to move on -
But don't get stuck on the why of the past and instead on the how of the future focus.
And make sure that on your journey you purposefully get closer to God drawn.

Do Not Fear Meditation With Music

I wrote this guided meditation for healing from fear, anxiety, and panic attacks not only for you but also for me, as I was suffering from constant fear when being cruelly manipulated by the narcissist. This is the best Christian sleep meditation. It calms down your mind and uplifts your spirit so that you can rest well through the night and wake up ready for the day.

Christian Guided Meditation Script by Anna Szabo

Welcome to this meditation that provides anxiety attack relief.
Do not fear - that’s going to be the theme of our time together.

You deserve some time for yourself. So, let’s silence your electronic devices.

Get comfortable. Breathe slowly. Inhale….and exhale…

Relax your jaw and shoulders. Relax your neck.

I am Anna Szabo from AnnaSzabo.com and I will be guiding you through your journey of conquering your fear and experiencing anxiety relief.

Fear, worry, anxiety - all come from overwhelm.

When you try to take on too much.

When you try to be in control of the things outside of your actual circle of influence.

I struggle with anxiety attacks and panic attacks too.

I want to know what’s next. I want to be strong. I want to control.

What helps me with my anxiety attacks is the Gospel.

Isaiah 41:10 says: “Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God.  I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

God is always near. He is directing our steps. He is in control. He has a plan.

Psalm 56:3 says: “When I am afraid, I put my trust in you.”

Trust God. He has never failed you and He will not start now.

He cares about you. His plan is to prosper you and to give you a future.

God loves you so much that He sent His only son to set you free from worry.

Philippians 4:6-7 says: “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.  And the peace of God, which passes all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.”

Lift up your anxieties to God. Tell Him what you want and need.

Present your requests to Him with gratitude.

What are you grateful for?

God’s peace is available to you now. Just reach out.

John 14:27 says: “Peace is what I leave with you; it is my own peace that I give you. I do not give it as the world does. Do not be worried and upset; do not be afraid.”

The supernatural peace of God doesn’t come from control, like the world views it.

It comes from surrender. It comes from trusting God.

Psalm 23:4 says: “Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.”

Your situation may be very serious. You may be walking right now in the valley of the shadow of death. I understand. I can relate.

This year, I went through two divorces in my 1st year of marriage, the man I married abandoned me to pursue his dream of becoming an IronMan, I experienced depression and suicidal  thoughts, I lost my job, we had a divorce jury trial that lasted for 4 days…

But God gave me peace every day. God’s peace is super-natural.

God’s peace cannot be understood.

It comes from knowing that God is with you everywhere you go.

God is now with you. He is protecting you.

Joshua 1:9 says: “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”

I will now read some Biblical affirmations I created for you.

I will repeat each several times to allow you to say these powerful affirmations with me. After that, I will leave you with some calm music to breathe and have some quiet you-time.

Repeat after me this Biblical affirmation I wrote for you.

I am not alone

I am never alone, God is always with me.
As I pass through the deep waters,
He holds me in the palm of His hand,
And I trust His protection guarantee.

Isaiah 41:10  | Romans 8:28

I am protected

My God is with me and He strengthens me.
He upholds me with His righteous right hand.
He protects me from every evil and rescues me.
I don't fear as on God’s eternal promises I firmly stand.

Isaiah 41:10 | Isaiah 54:17 | 2 Timothy 4:18 | Proverbs 19:23

I have peace

I have peace in every way.
It is perfect. It is sacred.
All the time my Lord is near,
And by Him my life's directed.

John 16:33 | Isaiah 26:3

Christian Wisdom Meditation With Music

Christian guided meditation for wisdom helps you tap into God’s infinite intelligence and make thoughtful, prudent decisions in regards to every area of your life. This meditation helps you see yourself in a new light.

It shows you, through the word of God, that you are able to be wise, that you have the mind of Christ, that God blessed you with the Spirit of sound mind, so, no matter the confusion your life circumstances cause you to experience, don’t believe any lies. You are perfectly capable of wisdom.

Christian Guided Meditation Script by Anna Szabo

Welcome to this meditation that provides anxiety relief. Words of wisdom in this Christian meditation come from the Bible. The goal of this wisdom meditation is to help provide natural anxiety relief  for those times when you can’t make a decision.

You deserve some time for yourself. So, let’s silence your electronic devices.

Get comfortable. Breathe slowly.

Inhale….and exhale…

Relax your jaw and shoulders. Relax your neck.

I am Anna Szabo from AnnaSzabo.com and I will be guiding you through your journey of gaining supernatural wisdom and experiencing anxiety relief.

Fear, worry, anxiety - all come from overwhelm.

When we try control life in our own power.

I struggle with anxiety attacks and panic attacks, too.

What helps me is accessing the wisdom of the Holy Spirit.

God’s infinite intelligence can be available to us if we ask for it.

To God belong wisdom and power; counsel and understanding are His.
~ Job 12:13

Ask God for wisdom.

God gives us the words of wisdom through the Holy Spirit.

So, when you ask, then hear and listen.

James 1:5 says: Whoever lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.

Ask God to help you with your decision.

Share your heart with God.

Pray to God about guidance.

Here is what God promises about His wisdom.

Proverbs 2:6 says: “For the Lord gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding.”

Blessed is the one who finds wisdom, and the one who gets understanding, for the gain from her is better than gain from silver and her profit better than gold. She is more precious than jewels, and nothing you desire can compare with her. Long life is in her right hand; in her left hand are riches and honor. Her ways are ways of pleasantness, and all her paths are peace.
~ Proverbs 3:13-18

Get wisdom, get understanding; do not forget my words or turn away from them. Do not forsake wisdom, and she will protect you; love her, and she will watch over you. The beginning of wisdom is this: Get wisdom. Though it cost all you have, get understanding. Cherish her, and she will exalt you; embrace her, and she will honor you. She will give you a garland to grace your head and present you with a glorious crown.
~ Proverbs 4:5-9

Be wise. Ask God for wisdom.

Listen to The Holy Spirit speak to you. And obey.

A person of understanding delights in wisdom.
~ Proverbs 10:23

I will now read some Biblical affirmations I created for you.

I will repeat each several times to allow you to say these powerful affirmations with me. After that, I will leave you with some calm music to breathe and have some quiet you-time.

Repeat after me this Biblical affirmation I wrote for you.

I am wise

I am wise and I show a good judgement.
Jesus has become for us wisdom from God.
My experiences for the hope of others are meant.
My wisdom is with the Holy Spirit intact.

1 Corinthians 1:30 | Isaiah 11:2

I am clear and focused

God gave me the power of sound mind
I'm clear. I'm focused. I'm disciplined.
Confusion and doubt are both behind.
I'm productive, and to the Holy Spirit I’m listening.

2 Timothy 1-7 | 1 Peter 1:13

I am decisive

I'm decisive because God makes my path straight.
I ask Him for direction, and He gives me wisdom graciously.
His plans to propel and prosper me are always great.
I lean on Him and pursue His will in my life tenaciously.

Proverbs 3:5-6 | Isaiah 30:21James 1:5

I am a princess

I am a Princess -
A daughter of the King,

Peace Meditation With Music

This guided meditation takes you on a joyful and relaxing adventure. I used it many times before and after I had to face something painful in life, and it helps shift focus and avoid a total overwhelm. It helps you gain perspective on what’s in front of you by stepping a thousand of miles away in your mind’s eye and reflecting on you, what matters, and what you need.

Christian Guided Meditation Script by Anna Szabo

Hello, dear.

Welcome to this meditation.

I am Anna Szabo from AnnaSzabo.com and I will be guiding you today on your journey to peace.

When we breathe slowly, the oxygen our body receives   helps normalize our functioning.

Slow breathing helps increase our clarity.

The world out there demands your attention. But to give your best to the world, you need to breathe, be still for a moment, so you can recharge.

You need this time. You need calmness.
In this moment and space, we are just focusing on one thing. Your breath.

Make sure your body is relaxed.
Your face muscles are relaxed.
Your neck tension is released.

It's warm.
The birds are singing happily.
You are calm. You are peaceful.
You are relaxed.
The sunshine is embracing your right chick and arm, you feel good.

Guided Meditation for Complex PTSD With Music

This guided meditation for healing offers anxiety relief and God’s divine comfort. I was diagnosed with Complex PTSD in 2016, and that’s how I know first-hand about panic attacks. This meditation can also help you sleep. It rids you of your worries and helps you focus on the word of God.

You feel fear. The panic is real, I know. You expect that something bad is about to happen. But YOU are SAFE. You’re not alone. I’m here with you.

Let’s breathe together very slowly and very deeply.

What you can expect from this guided Christian meditation is this:

Soft music will play and you will hear my voice with some pauses for processing. I will share helpful affirmations with you and I will invite you to repeat them with me if you choose to do so.

At the end of the last biblical affirmation, I will pray for you and then I will no longer be talking and the music will continue playing, so you can reflect on what you heard and relax.

If you drift to sleep, that would be wonderful.

Let’s breathe together very slowly and very deeply.

It’s ok. It’s understandable. You’ve been through a lot.

Be kind and compassionate toward yourself. Be patient with yourself.

I will help you. I will be in this panic attack with you and for you. Breathe.

By the end of this meditation, you will feel grounded and at peace.

Christian Guided Meditation Without Music

Dr. Caroline Leaf, a Christian brain neuroscientist, says meditation is essential for you. She explains in this video that, through meditation, you bring balance to the internal networks of the brain: the Default Mode Network and the Task Positive Network.

These two critical brain networks need to be activated and coordinated in order to allow you to focus in the moment. Meditation clears up and reboots your brain. It enables you to think clearly and make good decisions. It improves your blood flow and the access of oxygen to your brain.

An interesting scholarly article on “Meditation and the Neuroscience of Consciousness” explores neuroscientific research on meditation. Here are its findings as it relates to the impact meditation has on the human brain.

Our study… found activation in brain regions thought to be responsible for monitoring one’s feeling state, planning of movements, and positive emotions. This pattern was robustly modulated by the degree of expertise.

These data suggest that emotional and empathic processes are flexible skills that can be enhanced by training and that such training is accompanied by demonstrable neural changes.

Meditation and the Neuroscience of Consciousness: An Introduction” by Antoine Lutz, John D. Dunne, and Richard J. Davidson

Meditation literally helps you change, rewire, reshape your brain and build new thinking and feeling skills, which is what the Bible calls “renewing.”

Another fascinating research called “The exploration of meditation in the neuroscience of attention and consciousness

The investigation of states and traits related to meditation has especially pronounced implications for the neuroscience of attention, consciousness, self-awareness, empathy, and theory of mind.

The exploration of meditation in the neuroscience of attention and consciousness” by Antonino Raffone and Narayanan Srinivasan

Christian Guided Meditation FAQ

What Is Meditation?

According to the scientific paper called “The exploration of meditation in the neuroscience of attention and consciousness,” meditation can be conceptualized as a family of complex emotional and attentional regulatory practices, in which mental and related somatic events are affected by engaging a specific attentional set.

How should a Christian meditate?

How to meditate depends on your physical abilities and environmental conditions. For example, I love meditating while in my bed, yet, I can meditate while waiting at a car wash, though I can’t lie down. Some people love to meditate in a sitting position, others have injuries and must be lying down flat on their back. What really matters is that you get still, quiet in your mind, no matter the outside noises, and you focus on the word of God, ponder it, dwell on it, and apply it to your present life circumstances. You can do this anywhere, anytime.

What is the best Christian meditation app?

The best Christian meditation app is “Abide.” It has the largest Christian sleep meditation, PTSD meditation, and guided meditation for healing collection. However, it requires you to spend money. The best free meditation library is on The Anna Szabo Show Cristian Podcast here. It offers original Biblical meditations. No strings attached. You don’t need to pay for guided meditations here.

What are the benefits of Christian meditation?

The benefits of Christian meditation are a closer relationship with God, a sense of peace, the feelings of gratitude and joy, improved brain functioning, sharper mental focus, better emotional regulation, and overall enhanced physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health.

What does the Bible say about meditation?

The Bible instructs us to meditate on the word of God continuously.

Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful. – Joshua 1:8

May these words of my mouth and this meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, Lord. – Psalm 19:14

My mouth will speak words of wisdom; the meditation of my heart will give you understanding. – Psalm 49:3

What is the actual meaning of meditation?

The meaning of meditation is to consider, ponder, think about the word of God, and what it means to your present life circumstances.

How do you meditate on something?

The way you meditate on the word of God is by making yourself still physically and quite mentally. You choose one thing from the Gospel to ponder, and you think about that, apply it practically to your life in your mind, and you envision what God’s truth looks like for you. That’s how you grow your faith, increase your hope, mature your relationship with God, and gain spiritual wisdom.

Is meditation a religious practice?

Meditation is a faith practice. You get still physically and quite mentally to force yourself spiritually to go to the unseen places. For that, you must have faith, which is hope for the things unseen. Meditation helps you access the spiritual realm.

The Bible teaches us that we live in the physical, visible, and heavenly, unseen, realms. You can access God’s presence through meditation on His word, through prayer, through focused spiritual and mental devotion., and applied faith.

Meditating on God’s word about who I am in Christ saved me from suicide when I was enduring narcissistic abuse in 2016-2017 in my marriage. Today, I help women see themselves the way God sees them.

In the last few years, I’ve personally been on a quest to figuring out and conquering the negative voices in my head that distort my understanding of who I am. I call those voices the Shitty Committee, and each of us has that special committee in our headspace.

I’ve specifically been focusing on my identity in Christ.

From the Bible, I discovered 52 incredibly-positive things God says about us as His children. Those 52 precious discoveries turned into 52 Biblical affirmations I created to encourage and empower Christian women.

To help share this life-changing information with you, I created an ebook called #52Devotionals. Download it now for free

My free ebook helps you understand who God says you are. Don’t be vulnerable to identity attacks from the mainstream media, relatives, coworkers, your boss, society, culture, and the voices in your head.

Stand firm and know what God says about you.
